Lets say I have been gone for close to a year now with blogging. I have been out of touch with life and the art world in general. I have been numbed, lost, and healing.

For those who don't know on 10-12-08 my beloved husband left me and wanted to divorce me on 10-12-09 I was officially divorced. Four months later broken hear-ted and teary eyed I spent my first valentine's day with out the one I loved... 24 hours later... My mother on 02-15-09 had a brain aneurysm and was kelp on life support for 5 days and was officially pull out of it and she was lifeless. Today... 11-10-09 I have lost my job. Bad things come in three I believe and well I have had my share of it. Seems a little unfair f you ask me but I need to be myself again somehow! I need to vent out, get it out of my system since I am friend-less, little family and nothing to hold on it but my self. I think it's time to make art again, I sure will have lots of time in my hands and I seriously need to feel my soul. I am moving my blog and for those who wish to follow me here.

ONE week

Yup, one week to go! Next week will be my last week of school (spring semester) and I will be doing finals. It shouldn't be so bad since most of the classes are design classes. I just can't wait! I want summer to start so I can work on my shop. I plan to full time work on etsy, I want to sell my designs. I've gotten pretty good at it where I've design a book! My school has a creative arts journal and my cover and book design was choose. I have actual books now sitting on my desk of my work. I could not be more proud of myself, I guess when you are born to be something you just can't turn your head away. I need to take picture of it and post it, I have cover on digital format but I haven't taken a picture of the actual book yet! I will once the sun comes out.
I guess it's self explanatory why I've been away from this lovely blog! I will work more on it this summer, I plan to make more stuff animals and crafts, but I want to put 90% of my time designing. So if you need a banner for your store, blog or site design let me know!
So help me count the days (Friday the 6th is my last day of school) so far 5 days to go!!
I hope to see you on the other side of the week when I am free to live my life as a crafter, designer, and creator of my own world!!

Tada is FIONA!!!
She posted the best feedback ever on my shop and so far is the best person in the U.K (to me) she is so friend and a great shopper. I send her a free of a small water color and she just loved it so much she posted a picture with it. Yes, she has become a fan of etsy and will feed her mention she might have an addiction. For anyone who comes across her as a buyer she is the best! Thank you so much for the support Fiona!

My Bird Houses

Remember I mention I had purchase some vintage birds and I had the perfect bird houses for them. I collage them used everything from Gesso to nail polish and changed the cords they came with to some very cute ribbons. I liked them a lot, I think they will make a great Mothers day present and I should take some better pictures of them and put them up on my shop. Their so spring like, while painting them and getting them all dolled up made me realize spring is here. I hope others like them just as much as I do. I made some bigger ones last year for mothers day for my mom and my in-law and I found some smaller houses later on and though they would look even cute-er!

New Items on etsy

Yesterday mom and I went vintage shopping I found some cute vintage birds and I plan to paint and embellish some bird houses b/c I have birds now! I cannot wait to put them up on my store. I hope their hot cakes. I also put up yesterday and today some cool earrings. Their plastic so if you are allergic to anything else these are perfect!
